See Urine.
Urine, commonly called wee or pee, is the liquid containing the waste products, filtered out from the blood by the kidneys. Urinating is the proper name for having a wee or a pee. Often patients will be asked to give a urine sample or to provide a specimen. They do this by collecting some of their urine in a specimen bottle. The specimen will then be taken for examination, to see how well the kidneys are working.
